Auction House¶
Relaunch's Auction House never runs dry: a server-side market maker keeps the boards stocked with leveling gear and specialty items, and buys your listings back so farming always pays.
How it works¶
Type !ah anywhere to open the Auction House — no trip to Jeuno required. On relaunch the AH is run by a market-maker bot (hourly restock pass) with three jobs:
- Always-stocked leveling gear — every auctionable NQ (non-HQ) non-iLevel weapon, armor, and accessory up to level 90 is kept listed (5 copies each) at the level-bracket prices below. HQ / +1 crafted gear is left to players. No empty categories while leveling, ever.
- Always-stocked specialty items — a hand-picked list (furniture and more) stays on the boards at fixed prices.
- Guaranteed buy-back — the bot buys player listings too, so everything you farm has a price floor (details below).
Bot listings you buy are a pure gil sink (no player is paid); when the bot buys your listing, the gil arrives in your delivery box. iLevel 119 endgame gear is not sold here — that's the Gear Vendors.
Leveling gear prices¶
The bot sells this gear at the bracket price and buys it back at 50% of that price — a market-maker spread, so the buy-from-bot / sell-back round trip never profits:
| Equip Level | Sell price | Buy-back |
|---|---|---|
| 1–10 | 14,000 gil | 7,000 gil |
| 11–20 | 17,000 gil | 8,500 gil |
| 21–30 | 21,000 gil | 10,500 gil |
| 31–40 | 26,000 gil | 13,000 gil |
| 41–50 | 33,000 gil | 16,500 gil |
| 51–60 | 41,000 gil | 20,500 gil |
| 61–70 | 51,000 gil | 25,500 gil |

Guaranteed buy-back¶
Leveling gear (≤ level 90): list a piece at or below the bot's buy-back price (50% of its table price above) and the bot buys it, paying that. Every leveling piece has a guaranteed floor, so trying gear for a new job is low-risk.
Everything else: the bot also buys back any other auctionable item at a layered floor price — whichever of these resolves first:
- Market floor — if the item has at least 3 recent player sales, the bot pays 60% of its average sale price.
- Vendor floor — otherwise 2× its NPC sell value.
- Minimum — never less than 1,000 gil.
List at or below the floor and the bot takes it on its next hourly pass, paying to your delivery box. Ask more than the floor and your listing simply stays up for players.
Payment timing
The market maker runs hourly — listings are topped up and buy-backs paid on its next pass, with gil delivered to your delivery box.
