Live Events

Summary

Three standing bonuses on fixed clocks: a daily Happy Hour EXP and Capacity-Point boost for everyone online, a Divergence City of the Day that pays bonus medals on a clear, and a Unity weekly featured NM that pays double accolades. The Live Events board on the Player Portal counts down to each one.

The Relaunch runs three always-on rotating events. There is no sign-up and no fee — be online (or run the featured content) inside the window and the bonus is yours. What's live right now, and how long until the next window, is on the Live Events board on the Player Portal.

Happy Hour

Happy Hour runs daily, 20:00–21:00 UTC. Everyone online gets +50% EXP and +50% Capacity Points for the rest of the window — applied automatically within a minute (your chat log announces it), including when you log in or zone in mid-window.

  • Nothing to sign up for and nowhere to be — it works in every zone, on every job and level.
  • A stronger EXP/CP buff you already have (say, from a ring) is never downgraded — Happy Hour only applies where it's the better deal.
  • The bonus pays out in installments: after a big burst of EXP/CP the icon can blink off for up to a minute before the next installment lands. You lose nothing — it re-applies automatically for the rest of the window.

Divergence City of the Day

One of the four Dynamis — Divergence cities is featured each day: finish the featured city's run and every member of the clear is paid 1× Demon's Medal and 2× Kindred's Medal on top of the normal spoils.

The rotation is fixed — it flips at 00:00 UTC and repeats every 4 days:

San d'Oria [D] → Bastok [D] → Windurst [D] → Jeuno [D]

Today's featured city, with a countdown to the next flip, is on the Live Events board.

One of the 56 Wanted NMs on the Unity Concord board is featured each week, and its kill pays double accolades (the spawn cost doesn't change). The featured hunt is pinned to the top of the board menu as Weekly: and starred (*) in the tier lists.

The feature moves to the next NM on the roster every Thursday at 00:00 UTC. This week's NM, with a countdown, is on the Live Events board.
